Help
Be a part of social history and leave a mark on our timeline. It’s really simple:
- Scroll through 30 years of history, fashion and culture leaving comments as you go.
- Share any one of these cultural landmarks across your social network.
- Add a photo to the timeline to let us know what you were up to at any point in the last three decades.
To register:
The first time you add a photo or leave a comment you will need to register. The easiest way to do this is using your facebook login. If you’re not that way inclined then you can sign up with your email address.
When registering with an email address, you’ll need to create a password and upload a photo (or choose from a selection of avatars). You should then receive an email with a link that must be clicked in order to activate your account.
Now when you log in with your email address and password or your facebook username and password you have free rein to leave your mark.
To log out, simply do this in the ‘my account’ section.
To upload a photo to the timeline:
Once you reach the year you’re looking for, click on add photo in the bottom right hand corner of the page. If you’re not already logged in you will need to log in now.
You should title your photo in the title box, leave a comment in the box underneath, then click add photo and once you’ve read the disclaimer, click continue and choose an image to upload. When you’re happy, press ‘publish’.
You’ve now left your mark on social history.
To amend an entry on the timeline:
You can amend or delete any entries you’ve made on the timeline simply by clicking the image and selecting amend or delete.
If an image or comment is uploaded and you consider it to be inappropriate then click report and we’ll take a look at that particular entry and may remove any offensive images or comments.
To comment on an entry on the timeline:
You can comment any entry on the main timeline simply by selecting comment. And if you’re a facebooker, hit share and your friends will instantly realise how cool you are/were.
If you forget your password:
Click on my account and then ‘forgotten your password?’ and quick as a flash, you’ll receive an email.
